They have no gods, but instead worship the Stone and pay deep homage to their ancestors. Surface dwarves shed their ties to Orzammar and live their lives in the world, and though many of them serve bring trade and commerce to Orzammar, their disconnection from the Stone has made them outcasts who often aren't permitted to return.ĭwarves also don't practice religion in the traditional sense like most Thedosians do.
Casteless dwarves have little hope for their future and spend their lives as beggars or working for criminal organizations like the Carta. Dwarves have followed an intricate caste system for centuries, with each caste wearing a mark depicting its station. Individuals are born into their castes, determining the life they will lead and the opportunities open to them.
